There’s a crisis at our southern border and it’s far past time to do something about it. We need more border patrol agents and better technology to screen for fentanyl and illegal drugs. We also need to make sure there are pathways to citizenship, as well as a process for refugees to seek asylum in the United States.

Bryan Steil is all talk and no action on border security. For purely political reasons, he refused to support the bipartisan solution that his party helped broker and that was endorsed by the National Border Patrol Council.

Southeast Wisconsin deserves a representative like Peter, who will roll up his sleeves and work across the aisle to get comprehensive immigration reform passed.
