After sacrificing to protect our freedom, veterans should not have to worry about making sure their country has their backs. Peter will always stand for our veterans.

As a member of Congress, Peter received an award from the VFW Junker-Ball Post 1865 for his support of veterans. In the Wisconsin Assembly, he led the effort to put a POW-MIA monument in the State Capitol. 

In Congress, Peter will support initiatives to improve access to health care and mental health services for veterans and reintegration into the civilian workforce.
