As a union member himself, Peter has always been a supporter of workers’ rights and organized labor.

When former Governor Walker tried to repeal collective bargaining rights, Peter stood up for workers and led a 60-hour floor debate to protect workers. In the Wisconsin legislature, he consistently voted to protect organized labor rights, receiving a 97% legislative rating from AFL-CIO.  

In Congress, Peter will continue to support workers and vote for legislation that strengthens unions.
